Achillea millefolium

Fine, bitter, and aromatically potent, this powdered yarrow includes both the flowering tops and aerial herb, sustainably harvested in Europe and finely milled for use in capsules, topical blends, and powdered teas. Long valued in traditional herbalism, yarrow is known for its ability to tone tissues, support healthy circulation, and ease digestive and menstrual discomfort.

This powder retains the full spectrum of yarrow’s naturally occurring volatile oils, flavonoids, and sesquiterpene lactones, which contribute to its astringent, anti-inflammatory, and vasomodulating properties. It is often included in formulations for wound healing, menstrual balance, and seasonal immune support.

Dry, floral-bitter, and slightly camphorous. Potent and best used in blends or capsules.

• Traditionally used to support balanced blood flow and reduce excess bleeding

• Supports immune function and sinus clarity when used during seasonal shifts

Topical Pastes or Poultices – Combine with water or honey for wound or skin applications

Yarrow has a long history of use as a medicinal herb dating back to ancient Greece where it was used to treat wounds, reduce inflammation, and stop bleeding. Legend has it that Achillea Millefolium was named after Achillies the Greek mythological hero who used it to stop the bleeding in his soldiers wounds. Today, all parts of the plant can be used medicinally both internally and externally. It is used to stop bleeding. A poultice or infused oil is good for bruises, sprains, and swelling. Yarrow has strong antibacterial and antifungal properties. Drinking the tea can induce sweating, reduce fevers, assist with menstrual cramping, is thought to tone the uterine muscles assisting the body after childbirth, helps to bring on menstruation.  Yarrow contains salicylic acid helping to promote the healing of acne and act as a pain reliever on the skin. It has a calming effect on the central nervous system and is thought to reduce anxiety without sedative effects.
