Best known as a key ingredient in bitters, vermouth, and absinthe, this certified organic cut & sifted herb from Bulgaria is prized for its digestive-stimulating, antimicrobial, and parasitic-cleansing qualities.

Wormwood contains absinthin, thujone, and other bitter sesquiterpene lactones that have been studied for their effects on digestion, appetite regulation, and intestinal parasite control. In small amounts, wormwood is used to stimulate bile flow and digestive secretions; in carefully prepared formulas, it may also support microbial balance in the gut.

Tasting Notes:
Exceptionally bitter, green, and resinous with a sharp, medicinal finish. A little goes a very long way.
